Show me those pearly whites, teeth whitening made easy! {Giveaway}

Whitening Teeth At Home

This post is sponsored. I received these products complimentary for testing. All opinions are my own.

Getting your hair cut, getting your nails done, going shopping – how about adding, teeth whitening to that mix? These are all examples of things that moms do to look good and feel great! These are also examples of things that most moms struggle to do on a regular basis. So I was pretty pumped when Smile Brilliant reached out to me and invited me to try their at home teeth whitening products.

The last time I did teeth whitening I was in high school. I remember it being quite the process. I had to go to the dentist many times and the whole process was just super time consuming, not to mention expensive. But I had been wanting to do it again, I mean after all, it’s been 15 years since I last whitened my teeth! I think it is time!

I had thought about just going to CVS and getting something over the counter but then I would go online and read terrible reviews and the thought of just throwing away my money without it working didn’t seem right.

Enter Smile Brilliant. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but I checked it out online and watched a few youtube videos and it seemed legit., why wouldn’t you want to do affordable teeth whitening, at home? So why not? You start by receiving a kit. It has everything you need to make your molds. These are custom fit for your mouth.

You simply blend together the two components (catalyst and base paste) and then fit it into the tray.

From there, you insert the custom whitening tray into your mouth and create the impression. The entire process I think took 10 minutes for upper and lower and as you can see..I didn’t even leave my house (because I clearly just got out of bed).

Once this was complete, the molds set for 30 minutes and you drop them into a pre-paid envelope to be sent to the lab and made into your custom molds. Easy peasy. Smile Brilliant provides very clear instructions (with photos) for you to follow while you are making the custom teeth whitening trays.

It took roughly 10 days to get the trays back and they fit perfectly! I won’t lie, I did have a few questions but their website is full of great answers for professional teeth whitening at home. There are literally (as I mentioned before) a ton of resources on youtube..like this one!

Here are the steps:

  • Brush your teeth with water only and floss
  • Use the whitening gel for up to 3 hours. I did mine for an hour each time.
  • Brush your teeth normally with toothpaste
  • Use the desensitizing gel, I did mine for an hour each time
  • Rinse and you are done!

Let’s talk about the desensitizing for a second.  All teeth whitening can lead to some discomfort and sensitivity. Smile Brilliant, I’ve learned, is the only company the provides a solution. After my first time, my teeth were a bit sensitive but after the second and third time, I didn’t feel a thing. The gel they provide diminishes tooth sensitivity and helps to prevent re-staining. And while we’re at it, do you want to know what’s in the gel of both the whitening and the desensitizing gel? This at-home teeth whitening program is both vegan and cruelty-free.

Now, are you ready for the best part?!? Smile Brilliant is offering a giveaway for this exact whitening kit ($139 value) to one lucky reader! All you have to do is fill out the form here and Smile Brilliant will pick a winner. This contest will close on May 6, 2017.

So what are the results you ask…drumroll please….after 10 days:

Smile Brillant Teeth Whitening

All in all, great product, great company and perfect for whitening teeth at home!
